There are very few days of the week when we wouldn’t want our own Hawaiian escape, but this stunning Big Island home surpasses even our daydreams.
Created by MLK Studio, Inc., this 7-bedroom custom home is currently on the market for $12.75 million and seems worth every penny.
Located in the middle of the famed Hualalai Resort, the home melds seamlessly into its natural surroundings with digitally sculpted wood ceilings and screens and an abstract approach to traditional Hawaiian wood carving.
Massive glass walls allow for an indoor-outdoor feel, and the hotel features nearly 2,000 square feet of indoor lanai in addition to 6,700 square feet of living space.
The property, located at 72-230 Kahikole Street, won the 2013 Hanley Wood Builder’s Choice award for custom homes, came in first in the 2011 CTI design competition, and won the Best of the Year award in 2010 for Interior Design magazine.
We’d take it. What about you?
