Part of a stunning five villa complex nearby Hebil Bay in Turkey, Hebil 157 was inspired by the aesthetics of crystallized lava flows of the legendary Volcano Kos. Resting its intriguing architecture on an irregular terrain that helped shape the structure, the luxurious villa was designed by Istanbul-based architecture studio Aytac Architects.
Spreading over 4,791 square feet, the stunning property showcases its respect for the local vegetation by preserving the century old olive tree in the central courtyard. Extensive use of glass connects the interiors with the outdoors, creating a visual continuation of the open floor plan towards the surrounding environment.
“The structure embraces the site, despite its geometric-contemporary look. The interior is very breezy and envisioned as a fluid space. Floor-to-ceiling windows add a touch of transparency, creating the perfect ambiance to relax, favoring a stress-free lifestyle. The terrace accommodates an infinity swimming pool, with spectacular views over the bay. The interior spaces were decorated with volcanic basalt, in order to keep the volcano theme inspiration alive.”
