What would you do if you won the lottery? The August 2014 California Mega Millions $180 million lottery winner, Rick Knudsen put together an incredible Southern California mountain compound with his winnings and that property is now for $26 million.

The compound includes a 16,000-square-foot country estate sited on 50-acres, a separate plot of 155 acres featuring a buffalo ranch with farm and caretakers home, plus 640 acres of your own mountain section with water rights. The purchase also includes a steakhousesaloon and additional land in the town of Oak Glen.

Poised  on the edge of Oak Glen ’s mountainscape community is the highest individually owned mountaintop compound in Southern California: The Eagle Crest Mountain Estate. Views span from the surrounding landscape to Mount San Jacinto, the Salton Sea to the east, San Gabriel Mountains to the west and Palomar Mountain to the south, all while setting an entirely new benchmark for mountain living just an hour from Palms Springs and Los Angeles.

The five-bedroom estate features a 4,000-square-foot six-bay garage and carport.

The 17-seat theater has a  George Lucas sound system.

The home also has a fully-equipped gym, wine cellar, as well as its own water source, sustained internet and solar power system.

Designed to evoke Park City’s renowned architecture, the interior is complete with custom details and natural finishes that span from the expansive state-of-the-art kitchen to the adjoining, window-embraced great room.

The large master suite has its own deck and Jacuzzi.

A one-bedroom apartment has a separate entrance and a fully-equipped kitchen.

The home’s immediate exterior features a wraparound deck, two ponds, and a 120-foot stream.

This home is listed by Craig Strong of Compass Real Estate. The complete property details are at https://www.eaglecrestmountain.com.
