A new Cook, Pray, Love package is available at Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village, California and California Health & Longevity Institute incorporating elements designed to inspire a journey of self-discovery. Each package includes overnight deluxe accommodations, a Mediterranean Grilling-themed Wellness Kitchen cooking class and luncheon for two guests, a meditation CD created by energy healing expert Barbara Savin and a love-themed gift.
In addition to the package inclusions, guests can choose to add a bit more “prayer” inspired reflection with a yoga class or to reward themselves with a bit more “love” through a rejuvenating treatment in The Spa at Four Seasons.
A signature program at California Health & Longevity Institute, the Wellness Kitchen is a hands-on food experience led by a registered dietitian-chef. Up to 16 guests prepare recipes that infuse ingredients and herbs picked from the adjacent chef’s garden. The Mediterranean grilling class menu includes recipes inspired by foods associated with this region, which are reported to enhance health and longevity. Guests learn to make a variety of dishes including roasted tomato soup, grilled fish with Italian caponata, white beans with tomatoes and sage, and grilled pizza. For dessert, roasted balsamic summer fruit provides a light, yet sweet ending. The Mediterranean Grilling Wellness Kitchen class is also available a la carte for $105 per person including the class, luncheon, apron and recipes.
The one-night package is offered August 13 and 14, August 20 and 21, and August 27 and 28, 2010.
