Cindy Crawford preps up to celebrate her 50th birthday on February 20 by kicking off her modeling heels. The gorgeous supermodel, who has been modelling for over 30 years ago, announces her retirement from the modeling world. “I’m sure I’ll have my picture taken for 10 more years, but not as a model anymore. And that’s okay. I’ve done it. I’ve worked with all these incredible photographers,” Crawford states in the United Airlines magazine’s February issue. Further clarifying her decision, she states, “Or maybe not say goodbye, but move on.”
Cindy, who recently sizzled in front of the camera along with Naomi Campbell and Claudia Schiffer for Balmain’s Spring 2016 ad campaign, adds, “What else do I need to do? I can’t keep reinventing myself. I shouldn’t have to keep proving myself. I don’t want to.”
49 year old American model, who has been married to Rande Gerber, is also marking the milestone by publishing a book, Becoming Cindy Crawford (Rizzoli). Cindy Crawford also tweeted a picture of her from the photo shoot for United Airlines’ Rhapsody magazine.
