Most people hate the sound of nails on a chalkboard, but now London-based beauty label Ciaté are letting you put the chalkboard on your nails. The Ciaté Chalkboard Manicure lets you play teacher on your own hand, as you sketch and squiggle away with mini liquid chalk pens onto you nails.
Here’s how it works;
1) Start by applying two coats of matte black Ciaté Chalkboard nail polish.
2) Once they’re dry you can then start designing with the colored Chalk Pens (you can wash off any mistakes with water)
3) When you’re happy you can then seal your nails in place by applying a layer of clear protective topcoat.
The products are dibutyl-phthalate-, toluene- and formaldehyde-free and the Chalkboard Manicure set is available from Selfridges in London from April 2013 priced at £25 (RM117) each, while in the US and France fans can currently find the packs at Sephora.
The product will then hit Bloomingdales, Lord & Taylor, Henri Bendel, and Nordstrom in June 2013 priced at $25 each.
