Over a decade ago, Melvin Major Jr. now of Melvin’s Juice Box fame, created a special flavor — the ‘Sweet Christy” — in honor of super model Christy Turlington’s usual order while he was serving her from behind the bar at Sixth Avenue’s LifeThyme Natural Market.

Now the duo is teaming up for a really juicy partnership, reintroducing Melvin’s “Sweet Christy” juice, with 100% of proceeds benefitting Every Mother Counts, Christy Turlington Burns’ non-profit dedicated to making pregnancy and childbirth safe for every mother.

The limited edition detox juice — a blend of apple, beets, lemon and ginger — is only available through March 13th, but really supports beauty from the inside out with proceeds  benefitting Every Mother Counts’ focus on educating the public about the maternal health crisis and promoting nine programs around the world that address critical barriers to maternal health care.

Seems like a cause that’s chug-able!
