Christian Louboutin’s City Collection debuts online at Barneys to delight male fans. For the first time the men’s capsule collection of red soles are made available for online shoppers by the American chain of luxury department stores. 
Putting a fresh spin on timeless men’s styles, Louboutin’s City Collection is a step above the rest. Comprising of various styles of sneakers, lace up shoes as well as combat boots, the one old feature in this new range is the brand’s signature red soles. The Parisian designer has blended textures and fabrics in innovate ways giving the collection a fresh twist for the new season. The collection highlights the fusion of traditional styles with fresh attitude as a classic cap-toe Oxford or a sleek patent leather loafer fits the bill for the dressiest of occasions, while more casual events call for the collection’s spirited sneakers and boots.
Speaking to Barneys, Monsieur Louboutin explained the core of his inspiration, “I think of people as active in many different ways.” He added, “When designing shoes, I often think of performers. And when I say performer, it’s not necessarily an actor—athletes deliver great performances, as do singers. I just like action.” He appreciates that people are creative enough to play with their own style in their own way.
Doling out suggestions to make the best of the City Collection, Christian also stated, “There are many, many ways to wear these shoes. The double-color styles I will wear with white or possibly pale olive khakis. And something bright on the top—colors above the belt, not under it!”
Christian Louboutin styles the dark brown smooth calfskin six-eye Greggo Balmorals with tonal toe cap. Sporting red soles and a $945 tag, it is also available in dark brown shade.
The new line also includes Christian Louboutin’s lace-up Amory boots shaped from Camel suede calfskin and styled with a tonal toe cap and adjustable double-buckle collar strap. Step in them to add sturdiness to each step for $1,595. 
For $945, Christian Louboutin’s Top Daviol Bluchers are designed with beige and black woven raffia and trimmed with black smooth calfskin.
And exclusively to Barneys are Christian Louboutin’s low-top Gondolier sneakers. Sporting a taupe and natural tweed body, the $745 sneakers are trimmed with dark brown smooth calfskin.
