This year’s Hermès windows depict rustic domestic scenes inspired by a new line of porcelain dinnerware called Les Maisons Enchantées, by François Houtin, an artist and Hermès scarf designer. Charlie Baker (above), a furniture and landscape designer in Long Island City, N.Y., was responsible for creating the woodsy wonderland, which will grace the Hermès store at 691 Madison Avenue, near 62nd Street, through early January. Mr. Baker, 28, who is known for organic designs that incorporate stones, driftwood and reclaimed lumber, explained how he replicated Mr. Houtin’s china pattern using twigs and felled trees.
