Chanel is popping up all over the places with Bergdorf Goodman being the latest destination. The French fashion house is raking up action and energy in New York City by launching a gym-themed pop-up shop on the fifth floor of the Fifth Avenue luxury store. The Chanel on 5F gymnasium style installation has been designed by Chanel’s in-house team.
The gym featuring gray lockers, chain-link fences, benches and weights has been inspired by the brand’s Fall 2014 ready-to-wear ad campaign. The sports club like ephemeral boutique is offering Chanel’s ready-to-wear, bags, costume jewelry, sunglasses as well as sneakers. The Fall/Winter 2014/15 collection will be exclusively available on 5F until 19th October.
Chanel already serves to its clients from the Midtown Manhattan based luxury goods department store via two floors. However with this latest installation on the fifth floor, the brand is keen to serve its fans in a complete novel setup. To mark this fashion-filled sporty stint, Chanel has also extended its presence to Bergdorf Goodman’s 57th street windows. It is the first time the store has given the liberty to a single brand to dominate its windows.
