Karl Lagerfeld invited all his most famous friends including Vanessa Paradis, Blake Lively, and Clémence Poesy to the Hôtel du Cap Eden-Roc for the Chanel Cruise Collection 2011/12 fashion show. The collection was inspired by the 50s, bringing back Lagerfeld’s vision of the Riviera. “A certain discipline in the clothes with a glamour inherited from the 1950s, a glamour that is more natural, more interior, miles away from the current red carpet trends,” added Lagerfeld.
