The most exciting time of the year in California wine country is fast approaching: the annual fall grape harvest and “first crush.” Wine aficionados flock to Napa Valley’s vineyards every autumn for seasonal events, especially those in the idyllic town of Yountville, Napa’s culinary capital and home to the annual Crush It Harvest Festival at gorgeous Estate Yountville.
The third annual Crush It Harvest Festival will be held October 5 on the 22-acre Estate Yountville. The day-long, family-friendly Crush It Harvest Festival celebrates the fall harvest returns with a harvest-inspired menu and exquisite wines from award-winning and small-production wineries. Crush It will also feature live entertainment, local vendors and artisans, face painting and games for families, and the opportunity to participate in the timeless tradition of barefoot grape stomping.
“Fall harvest is the best time of year in wine country, with locals and visitors alike looking forward to our annual Crush It Harvest Festival,” said Emily Farca, General Manager of Estate Yountville. “We’re excited to showcase the beauty and bounty of Napa Valley with wine and food enthusiasts while wine tasting, grape stomping, (enjoying) music, and having family fun.”
Voted “The Most Beautiful Boutique Hotel in Napa Valley”, Estate Yountville is ideally situated in the heart of Napa on the main street of picturesque Yountville. The luxury resort features 191 rooms across two hotels, Vintage House and Hotel Villagio, as well as The Villa, a private five-bedroom retreat with a private pool and full kitchen. Guests can enjoy the AAA Four Diamond Award-wining resorts’ three restaurants, a bar, a fitness center, wedding and meeting venues, shopping at the V Marketplace, and stunning vineyard views.
Just steps from tasting rooms and the renowned restaurants Bottega, Michelin-star French Laundry, and other culinary gems — as well as tasting rooms and shopping — the estate is an ideal destination for a walkable wine-country getaway, spa-cation, bachelor and bachelorette parties.
Continuing the harvest celebration, Estate Yountville will also offer memberships to The Club, its new subscription wine club where members will enjoy bespoke benefits, carefully curated wine selections, private tastings, invitations to exclusive events, and hotel benefits.
The newly reopened Rendez Veuve Spa deserves special mention. Napa Valley’s first and only spa of its kind invites guests to indulge in a world-class retreat that marries the effervescence of Veuve Clicquot champagne. Guests at Rendez Veuve Spa are greeted with a glass of bubbly in a relaxing space pre-treatment. The pampering continues with plush signature robes and the option to enhance treatments with a bottle of Veuve Clicquot or a charcuterie board.
The two-story spa has indoor/outdoor relaxing lounges, Eucalyptus-infused steam rooms, dry saunas, Swiss-experience showers, outdoor Jacuzzis and more. The 12 treatment rooms include five private spa suites with soaking tubs and fireplaces, three of which are designed for couples treatments. Exclusive new Veuve-inspired spa treatments include:
Veuve Exfoliation – 100-minute treatment featuring a golden sugar scrub, a full-body massage with a radiant gold shimmer oil, plus a gold collagen eye mask to reduce inflammation. $500.
Veuve Facial – A 90-minute facial using Knesko gold collagen masks to rebuild collagen and revitalize the skin. $465.
Veuve Massage – A 50-minute full-body massage with gold shimmer oil, complemented by a gold collagen eye mask. $245.
Admission to the Crush It Harvest Festival is free, with wine-tasting and grape-stomping tickets priced at $75 per person (in advance) or $95 on the day of the event. Tickets include a grape stomp experience, a commemorative t-shirt, and three tastings from various wine purveyors. Food, additional tastings, and non-alcoholic beverages can be purchased separately.
