Targeting the A-listers, it is also estimated that 70 percent of the district’s water is going to the lawn maintenance of about 100 manicured estates.Even the mayor of Beverly Hills is officially supporting efforts to make the rich and famous cut back on their water use to cope up with California’s worst drought in history. It is also predicted that California reservoirs have less than a year’s worth of drinking water left.The Hidden Hills estate of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West is so lush, even the wealthy neighbors are outraged. It is also known that water investigators have drafted a letter to Kim, warning her to cut water use on her estate by 50 percent.The act of naming-and-shaming people who are wasting water on YouTube, Instagram, Twitter has caught up and is aiming hard at the rich and famous celebrity residents of California!
