Burberry Bees are swarming all over the fashion world this season. The British luxury fashion house has unveiled the Bee Bag collection as a part of the Burberry Prorsum spring/summer 2015 show in London. Titled The Birds & The Bees, Christopher Bailey’s vision for spring featured butterfly and honey bee motifs, along with bright bold font designs all over the collection. Taking a closer look at the IT bag of the season, we have picked three Mini Bee bags from the runway collection.
The Mini Bee in hand-painted leather with high-gloss patent trim makes a perfect top handle bag. Offered in a range of color combinations, it features a double-layered construction with concealed wing pockets for easy access. The design is finished with hand-stitched and rolled leather handles, hand-painted edges and heritage-inspired buckle fastenings. Grab it from Burberry for $2,795 as you can shop the runway until 29 September only. Featured above in aqua green with antique rose trim, the Burberry Bees in hand painted leather are offered in nine vibrant combinations.
Mixing sporty with elegance is the Mini Bee in Denim. The structured bag in indigo denim gets a touch of glamour with vivid patent leather trims. The rest of the design is identical to the whole collection with grosgrain interior, rolled leather handles and buckles detailing. The most reasonable of the Bee Bag collection featured here, it is up for $2,095. While the denim edition sports indigo blue as base, the bag gets its dose of color from mineral blue, teal and antique rose trimmings.
The third Bee from Burberry’s hive is the Mini Bee in Horseferry Check. Sporting the brand’s signature check pattern, the bag is clad in horseferry check jacquard fabric which is screen-printed with a contrast colour border. Fitted with detachable shoulder strap, the Horseferry Bee is designed to fly off in eight different shades for $2,495.
All the Bee Bags come with an option of personalizing with own initials.
