Bring Me Back Those Old School Scents: The Perfumer’s Library Collection

The luxury London-based fragrance house Miller Harris has recently launched The Perfumer’s Library, a set of five scents for different occasions and seasons, that can be mixed and worn in various combinations, depending on your mood (swings). According to Lyn Harris, the collection expresses her signature style which is defined by her love for nature. Her precision in using naturals is prevailing in every new scent she creates.

Each of her fragrances reflects a certain “joie de vivre”, an exultation of the spirit. Each scent is strongly connected to a specific moment from her past, so it has a story to tell. No.1 Le Jasmin (2010) captures de essence of an exotic garden in Morocco, sometime in late October. The collection also includes No 2. Tuberosa (1998) is an eulogy brought to the magnificent tuberose flowers, No.3 Veti Vert (2006) – exhaling the masculine French chic, No.4 La Feuille (2009) with its strong ivy and fruity notes and No5. Verger (1999) – characterised by a wild and crisp fragrance. Harris explains that with this collection she intends to “build up a wardrobe of fragrances rather than being restricted to purely one”. Each 100ml bottle is priced at $ 315 (£195).
