Nice look at the high-tech electric motorcyle.
Pretty old news by now but the Brammo Enertia is still one of the most sensational bikes to come out on this side of the millennium. They say it’s “more consumer electronics that you ride than a motorcycle” and that statement alone can make any man experience shrinkage but, and here comes that full-bodied but, it really is a proper motorcycle. Brammo have over engineered this bike to almost the point of ridiculousness with Brembo brakes and Marzocchi forks. The quality and feel is so genuine that even Meryl Streep’s research can be questioned. With rather disappointing performance figures on paper, the Enertia is fully functional in city and commuter traffic and will out-accelerate most cars, provided the Zonda F next to you isn’t gunning it. – From James List
