The Wall Street Journal reports on Partnerships with Peugeot SA & Daimler AG:
BMW AG plans to provide more details on future cooperation with other automakers by the end of this year, Chief Financial Officer Friedrich Eichiner said Friday. “Cooperations are certainly an issue for us…You can expect to hear from us in that respect in the course of the year,” Eichiner said during an industry conference in Munich. Eichiner reiterated that BMW is already in talks with several automakers, including Daimler AG and Peugeot SA, over cooperation projects aimed at sharing costs. He said BMW might expand its cooperation with Peugeot on engines and will continue talks with German peer Daimler. – from WSJ
