“You guys are all my f–king dad,” Billie stated in the video while holding the Nike Air More Uptempo. “Years ago I was wearing these shoes and my dad’s like wow those shoes are so cool what are those like pink and white? PINK AND WHITE?”
The 18-year-old LA-based performer disagreed with fans on the true color of her Nike Air More Uptempo, stating: “I don’t know what happened to you in your f—king childhoods, but pink and white?!?”
On the Nike website, Billie’s sneakers are indeed listed as “mint white.”
After Billie ended the Instagram Q+A session with fans over their “nonsense,” the debate of the color of her Nike shoes continued on. Her followers tweeted: “Every time I look at Billie Eilish’s story those shoes are a different color” and “Billie Eilish getting into a heated argument over the color of her shoes is one of the highlights of my day.”
