Belvedere Vodka announces the launch of a worldwide search for its next Global Brand Ambassador. Aptly called the Belvedere “Dream Job”, vodka aficionados and amateurs alike are invited to compete for a chance to win a one year, $100,000 contract working directly for Belvedere and gaining international recognition for his or her creativity in cocktail creation and brand advocacy.
In this newly created role, the new Global Brand Ambassador will travel around the world alongside Head of Spirit Creation and Mixology, Claire Smith, to educate bartenders on how to best enjoy Belve and make the most innovative and exciting cocktails.
Claire Smith and Belvedere enthusiast Chelsea Handler officially announced the start of the search on ‘Chelsea Lately’ on September 15, 2010. Beginning today, anyone interested in applying for the position can log onto Belvedere Vodka’s official Facebook contest page (http://www.facebook.com/BelvedereDreamJob) and enter to win the opportunity of a lifetime by submitting a short, 1-minute video. Each self-directed clip should showcase the person’s passion for Belvedere Vodka and creativity in mixing various vodka cocktails. Personality and a sense of humor are a must!

Entry: Beginning September 15, 2010 following the announcement on ‘Chelsea Lately’, those interested in applying for the position will be invited to submit a short, 1-minute video demonstrating their love of vodka on the designated Belvedere Global Ambassador Facebook page.
Semi Final ‘Cocktail Challenge’: After the voting polls close on October 15, a selection of semi-finalists will be chosen to participate in a series of Cocktail Challenges taking place in select major cities, including London and Sydney. During the cocktail challenge, the applicants will compete to create ten classic cocktails in ten minutes, and judged by certain criteria.
Final Competition: From December 13-15, seven finalists from all over the world will appear in front of the celebrity judges’ panel and be presented with the final challenge in Las Vegas. The winner of the one year contract will be announced!
