Beatles fans continue to get treats as the iconic band celebrates 50 years of recordings. The latest are two collections of live performances by the Fab Four recorded at the BBC in the early sixties.
The first collection is the remastered Live At The BBC. The set, originally assembled by George Martin in 1994, brings together 36 tracks on two CDs.
The second collection is On Air – Live at the BBC Volume 2, which features 63 tracks, none of which overlaps the first BBC release. This includes 37 previously unreleased performances and 23 previously unreleased recordings of in-studio banter and conversation between the band’s members and their BBC hosts.
Both collections will hit the stores on November 11 – making it the perfect Christmas gift for the Beatles fan in the household.
