Audi is reportedly in talks to buy Italian luxury motorcycle maker Ducati. The price tag for Ducati is approximately $1.1 billion.
The move would flesh out the VW/Audi portfolio, which includes Volkswagon, Audi, Skoda and Lamborghini. Ducati has been growing – with sales of 42,000 bikes in 2011.
Ducati was founded in Bologna in 1926.
