The Anova Hotel & Spa in Montgenevre, France is a modern boutique ski-in and ski-out hotel in the French Alps. Pursuitist recently visited the property and found it to be both welcoming and well-appointed with panoramic views of the snow-capped mountains.
Family-owned and operated, the Anova Hotel & Spa offers 40 rooms and suites. The restaurant features Italian and traditional French dishes while the cocktail lounge features comfortable seating, a fireplace and live music during many evenings. A lively three-piece jazz band was playing during our visit. For apres ski, there’s an expansive deck overlooking the mountains.
The Anova’s beautiful spa facility offers an indoor pool, Jacuzzi, steam bath and sauna (a la carte for a nominal fee). The Spa’s menu has a full range of body and facial treatments that feature Anne Semonin of Paris products.
In the lower level of the hotel, there is a fully equipped ski shop where guests can rent or buy equipment. As the front desk of the hotel sells and issues lift tickets, guests can arrive at the hotel, rent equipment (if needed), buy lift tickets and hit the slopes immediately.
Standard rooms (for two people) range from 115 Euros to 165 Euros per night, junior suites are priced at 205 and the larger Anova Suites are 255 Euros (both suite categories can accommodate up to five people). The Anova Suites are well-designed duplexes with a downstairs bedroom with a king bed and bath and a larger room upstairs with three single beds and a full bath.
During the summer months, the hotel offers three day, two night golf packages that includes two nights in a standard room, three days of beginner’s golf lessons at a local 18-hole golf course and unlimited spa access with one massage. The price for the package is 389 Euros per person
