Craving a bag with a little vroom, vroom? Anne Sylvain’s debut collection of genuine exotic skin and fine leather accessories is named “Le Mans”, after the annual road race held in France since 1923. The collection is inspired by the race’s legendary sport cars. But these are no fancy European imports, all the luxury goods are handmade in the good old USA. The exotic materials however, span the globe and include American alligator, South African ostrich, French lamb plonge, New Zealand deerskin, and full aniline Italian cowskin. The handbag interiors are lined in brightly colored suede and have open and zippered pockets.
Anne Sylvain’s “GTS” weekender, shown above, features genuine ostrich and alligator trim and is available in anthracite, black, burgundy and caramel. The sack-like structure features multiple compartments – making it easy to store apparel, travel toiletries and electronics.
Bags may be personalized with a client’s initials, stamped in gold or silver and custom color and leather choice also available upon request. The bags retail from $50 to $2350. Available for purchase at specialty retailers including David Lawrence in Bellevue, WA, Saks Jandel in Chevy Chase, MD, and Circle & Square in San Francisco, CA along with www.annesylvain.com.
