Oh, goodness. I keep on falling in love with each collection I see this season! Paris is surprisingly hot this fall and watching the amazing Spring/Summer collections you can’t help but to want to grab everything off the runway and throw it on immediately.
One of the most well received collections today was definitely the Allude show. To begin with, the place was packed which already raised the standards high. Not to worry, designer Andrea Karg did not disappoint (she rarely does). Inspired by the works of Tomas Saraceno and his ability to create solid and stable work while maintaining delicacy and fineness, Karg presented cashmere in a way it is rarely seen. Figure hugging yet not restricting, the pieces had a flow of non overbearing but strong energy. Colors of beige and grey kept it light and metallic threads gave it a certain subtle but powerful accent.
If you ever had any doubts, today Allude proved this magical thread is not just for winter. Here’s to kashmir- a year round wool.
