The all-new 2026 Hyundai Palisade Hybrid represents the next evolution of Hyundai’s flagship three-row SUV. As electrification continues to reshape the automotive landscape, Hyundai expands the Palisade lineup with a powerful and efficient hybrid variant that delivers stronger performance, improved fuel economy, and the same upscale refinement when compared to competitors.

Palisade Hybrid Powertrain and Performance
The Palisade Hybrid features a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine paired with an electric motor, producing a combined 329 horsepower and 339 pound-feet of torque – a significant increase over the gasoline model (287 horsepower/258 pound-feet of torque).

On the road, acceleration feels strong and confident, especially during highway merging and uphill climbs where the electric motor delivers immediate torque. Unlike some competitors, the hybrid system transitions smoothly between electric assist and gasoline power, delivering quiet low-speed operation and impressive acceleration.

Palisade’s available HTRAC all-wheel drive system provides confident traction, and impressive ride quality.
I personally prefer the drive dynamics and fuel economy of the Hybrid versus the gasoline only Palisade.
Palisade Hybrid Exterior
The Palisade Hybrid carries the same bold design language as the gasoline model. Up front, Palisade’s signature cascading grille is flanked by vertical LED daytime running lights and adaptive LED headlights.

A long wheelbase enhances interior space while maintaining a wide, athletic stance. Available 20-inch alloy wheels and hybrid badging distinguish this electrified variant. Full-width LED taillights complete Palisade’s modern and upscale design.
Palisade Hybrid Interior
Inside, the Palisade Hybrid delivers luxury and comfort with three-row seating spacious enough for adults. Buyers can choose second-row captain’s chairs for seven passengers or a bench seat for eight passengers.

While the entire luxe portfolio was standard on our top-trim Calligraphy Hybrid testers, available premium touches depending on trim include quilted Nappa leather upholstery, genuine wood trim, a microfiber suede headliner, heated and ventilated front and second-row seats, and a power-folding third row.
The available Ergo Motion driver’s seat enhances comfort with posture assistance and fatigue-reducing adjustments. Laminated glass and added insulation, combined with low-speed electric operation, create a serene cabin environment.
Palisade Hybrid Technology and Connectivity
Inside, drivers are treated to a panoramic dash that houses dual 12.3-inch displays for the digital instrument cluster and infotainment system.

Features include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, multiple USB-C ports in all three rows, a 15-watt wireless charging pad, available Harman Kardon premium audio, built-in dash cam with parking surveillance, digital rearview mirror, Hyundai Digital Key 2.0, Wi-Fi hotspot capability, and Alexa voice assistant.
On top trims, a UV-C sterilization compartment is a plus.
Palisade Hybrid Safety and Driver Assistance Features
The Palisade Hybrid includes Hyundai’s SmartSense safety suite with advanced driver assistance features such as Highway Driving Assist 2, adaptive cruise control with lane centering, Forward Collision Avoidance Assist, Blind-Spot View Monitor, Surround View Monitor, Remote Smart Parking Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Avoidance, and Lane Keeping Assist and much more.
Hyundai has rapidly become an industry leader in vehicle, passenger and pedestrian safety.
