Pet lovers can now bring their pets to Walt Disney World and spoil them at a new Luxury Pet Resort.
Best Friends Pet Resort, opening later this summer, will feature air-conditioned rooms, VIP suites and private outdoor yards for your pet. The 50,000-square-foot resort will offer a variety of services for your pet, including one-on-one play times, social playgroup, and ice cream time.
There is an exclusive dog park along with a 3,300 square-foot area covered in artificial turf, a 4,500 square-foot area with shade trees, and a 1,300 square-foot “canines only” water park.
Cats can stay away from the dogs at the “Kitty City” pavilion. There’s even a special facility for smaller pets, such as hamsters, guinea pigs, rats, rabbits and ferrets.
Best Friends Pet Resort is located across from the Port Orleans Resort at the Walt Disney World Resort, and opens August 27, 2010.
