Pick up trucks aren’t usually heaped onto the ‘luxury’ auto bin, but we got a look at the Ford 2014 F-150 SVT Raptor and couldn’t help but share it.
The 2014 F-150 SVT Raptor Special Edition was recently announced by Ford. This special edition brings some flair to the high-performing off-road pickup truck, including a new exterior color, Ruby Red Metallic, upgraded interior and custom exterior graphics.
The powertrain F-150 SVT Raptor Special Edition remains the same as the standard Raptor. It sports a 6.2-liter V-8 engine that produces 411 horsepower and 434 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed automatic transmission is standard, as are FOX Racing Shocks and a limited-slip differential. The power comes at a price, as the Raptor averages a scant 13 mpg.
If you’re looking to add some spice to your off road pickup, the 2014 F-150 SVT Raptor might be perfect for you.
Expect the 2014 F-150 SVT Raptor Special Edition this fall. No price tag has been released, but expect to pay $50,000-60,000.
