Showcasing its beauty in a sloping rural surrounding on the outskirts of São Paulo, Brazil, MP Quinta da Baronesa House amazes with its imposing character when looked at from the lower level and with a perfect harmony with the landscape when viewed from above. São Paulo-based architects of Studio Arthur Casas imagined this dream retreat as unnoticeable from street perspective and fully aware of its surroundings when viewed from the inside out.
This is actually a second home for the inhabiting couple spending most of their time in the city. The luxurious weekend home was designed with the couple and their two children in mind. Light-flooded interiors open towards the green landscape, looking over the nearby golf course and undulating horizon. Cumaru wood and old brick from demolitions were used as organic materials, integrating the design of the house in its natural surroundings.
