Chanel loves to surprise its fans and media with OOT advertising campaigns. The fashion house has just released the advertising campaign of their Fall-Winter 2014 collection. The Coco Coach campaign features Cara Delevingne and Binx Walton photographed by the messiah of the brand, Karl Lagerfeld. The French couture fashion house has themed the campaign around boxing sport and other fitness activities.
Clad in the latest pieces from the collection, the models are seen sweating it out to remain fit. Right from weight training to running and doing push-ups, both the slender-built models appear to be at ease even inside a boxing ring. Wearing tweed suits and sneakers and holding interlocked C branded handbags, the ladies up the adrenaline by fusing fashion with fitness to the fullest.
The fashion house has also deviated from the current trend of sharing campaigns online before the print version. The digital content of Chanel’s Coco Coach campaign was released after the print ads broke in magazines.
Luxury Daily also reported that Chanel’s ad campaign opened Vanity Fair’s 142-paged August issue with a three-page spread beginning on the inside front cover.
The creator of the campaign as well as the creative director of the brand, Karl Lagerfeld, is also seen in the film. As the photographer of the campaign, he has been captured directing the models and picking up the best images from the series of shots.
Take a look at the video that shows the making of the campaign. Behind the scene movie offers sneak peek at the styling of the models’ hair too.
