Blancpain Opens America’s Largest Boutique In New York City

New York keeps a tab on time in one of the most luxurious style by welcoming Blancpain’s new flagship store. The Switzlerland based luxury watch manufacturer has made its presence felt on the American soil by announcing the opening of its new flagship boutique in the heart of New York City. Nestled between historical buildings and iconic brands, the Blancpain’s new outpost is situated on the east side of Fifth Avenue, half a block north of St. Patrick’s Cathedral. The Swiss watch maker has made a big as well as a timely move to woo Americans. The new 160 square meter boutique is Blancpain’s largest in the U.S., helping the brand to strengthen its international presence.

To up the ante in the Big Apple, for the first time Blancpain has used a 360 degree screening system in its NYC boutique for total immersion in the brand universe. Photos and videos are displayed on the upper part of the walls, thus creating an atmosphere where virtual and real collide. The images change accordingly to brand news and are a reminder of its various commitments in several areas such as the oceans, the art of living and motorsports.

The NYC Blancpain store radiates the spirit of Le Brassus in every corner. The interior decor is infused with the brand’s heritage. The cherry wood used for the furniture and the display window design draw their inspiration from the  architecture of the workshops and master-watchmaker’s workbenches.
