As spring approaches, the French luxury brand has introduced a particularly cheerful variation on Paris, the iconic fragrance created by Sophia Grojsman in 1983. The new limited edition perfume will be available from March 3.
Yves Saint Laurent invited expert nose Dominique Ropion to revisit the original fragrance, based on the intoxicating scents of freshly blossoming flowers.
The Paris Premières Roses 2014 Limited Edition, a light eau de toilette, opens with an accord of wild rose, violet and neroli combined with notes of lily of the valley, Rosa damescena and peony. Among the base notes are white musk, sandalwood and roses.
Consistent with the flacons of previous editions, the multifaceted flacon features a pink tint and a new floral motif in gold.
This special edition eau de toilette will arrive at perfume counters from March 3, priced at €77 (around $106) for 125 ml.
