Through an exclusive partnership with famed cake designer Sylvia Weinstock, one of Washington, D.C.’s landmark hospitality locations is offering Beltway locals a tempting taste of holiday spirit.


The St. Regis Washington D.C. coaxed Weinstock out of her NYC studio this season to offer two exclusive and coveted Fantastical Holiday Cakes.

Known for her stunningly realistic sugar flowers, fresh ingredients and buttercream finishes, Sylvia’s edible works of art are a creative centerpiece — and may be gracing the tables of many a celebration in the Nation’s Capital.


Guests can fret over choosing between the Christmas themed cake — adorned with a red poinsettia flower motif — or the whimsical winter cake crowned with frost tipped roses and snow covered, sugar twigs.  Either can be a yellow butter cake with lemon raspberry filling or a chocolate cake filled with salted caramel and dark chocolate mousse.


Each is $400, with orders taken only through December 18th for pick up at The St. Regis Washington D.C. on Wednesday December 23rd and Thursday, December 24th.
