Amazing opportunity for auto lovers.
One of the earliest Bugatti racing cars is expected to fetch up to 2.4 million euros ($3.4 million) at a sale in France, said auction house Bonhams. The 5-liter “Type 18” was driven by the manufacturer’s eponymous founder, Ettore, at Le Mans in 1912. It will be a highlight of the inaugural sale by Bonhams at the annual “Weekend de l’Excellence Automobile” at Reims on Sept. 26, the London-based company said in an e-mailed statement yesterday. – From Bloomberg
