After making the announcement at Le Mans this summer that ford would return to endurance racing next year, we’ve been waiting to see and hear the new Ford GT on the track. Now you can thanks to a cellphone video from someone who was present at one of the cars test sessions at Sebring last week.
While it may sound like a hive of angry bees, the 3.5L twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 is expected to develop the necessary horsepower to make the GT competitive with entries from Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche and Audi.
Is anybody else ready for next year’s racing season to start? We certainly are.
