The Coral Reef Light was designed by Taiwan-based design studio Q Is Design in collaboration with Taiwan’s National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium. The futuristic LED lamp displays an organic shape, differentiating itself from any other modern lamp. There are two versions of the Coral Reef Light available: a table lamp measuring 18.3 inches for those who prefer the elegance of a smaller design or a floor lamp measuring 5.3 feet that guides the light along its long and sumptuous metallic base.
Two different materials were used in its construction: aluminum alloys and polycarbonate. Activated by a touch dimmer on the stand, the single adjustable layer of the table lamp gently diffuses its light. The floor lamp, on the other hand, displays three beautiful petals, each independently activated by swiveling. The metallic silver finishes ensure displayed by each version of the Coral Reef Lamp is suited for a contemporary interior.
