The Williams sisters have offloaded an apartment in New York. Serena Williams, who ranks No. 1 in women’s singles tennis, along with sister Venus has sold their Midtown West apartment for $2.1 million. The 1,800-square-foot Manhattan loft at 28 West 38th Street was bought by the duo in 2005. However the sisters have never stayed there to call it a home. A decade later the house has renowned attorney Ted Wells as the new owner.Presently, the apartment is set up with one bedroom, a giant walk-in closet, laundry room, and an all-white kitchen with a sub-zero refrigerator. However it can be easily re-designed to include two or three bedrooms with two bathrooms.Situated in the heart of the Fashion District, it has a expansive loft feel, with oak floors and high, beamed ceilings. Located right off Fifth Avenue, steps from Bryant Park, it is an impressive space in a high end stylish boutique residential building which features only two lofts per floor, high security coded entry via a sleek contemporary lobby, key locked elevators, and a full time super.Zillow Via Elliman
