Looking for your very own personal fashion vault? Fashion start-up of London Vault Couture catalogues wardrobes, stores them in a safe place, and delivers them to your doorstep just in case you have an unexpected gala evening coming up. And they offer an iPad to keep you connected to your wardrobe…
“Vault Couture understands that having the perfect outfit to hand is vital and for many clients, especially those who may have multiple homes around the world or jet-set for either work or pleasure,” it says on the company’s website, “it is important to have a clear understanding of exactly what they have and its location. However, we also understand that the logistics of managing a sizable collection can be challenging, and many people find that they simply do not have the time to dedicate to organise their wardrobes.”
Garments are stored in a newly built state-of-the-art, climate and humidity controlled, air-purified facility, located in central London. According to the company, “wardrobes are fully secured and designed to provide the optimum conditions for your precious garments. Every item is stored in a breathable garment bag or wrapped in acid-free tissue and placed in a breathable box, helping to maximise the longevity of every stored item.”
All Vault Couture services, including the online cataloguing and iPad Application are linked, so that whenever an item is moved, worn, cleaned or altered, all database information is always up-to-date.
Vault Couture comes as part of a trend that has seen the launch of an increasing number of bespoke wardrobe organization services.
