Spacecraft Group completed a contemporary restaurant design in Los Angeles, the result of an impressive architecture conversion. The 100-year old Vaudeville Theater located in the diverse neighborhood of Echo Park was completely transformed into four generous and inviting gathering spaces. The name of the new unit is Mohawk Bend, a restaurant that was initially opened in August. 2011.
Metal, wood and brick are the defining materials for the impressive Mohawk Bend restaurant. Here is further information from the designers: “At the center of entertainment, stands a communal table positioned between dual bars that serve 75 beers on tap. Next to it, you will find an open kitchen boasting a custom-built Woodstone oven serving vegan and traditional food. Further in towards the end of the restaurant, Keith installed a 20ft mosaic glass wall separating the brew pub area from the Ramona Room. Named after the original vaudeville theater, the Ramona Room is a beautiful concealed dining area featuring a high ceiling, skylights, brick walls, and a cozy fireplace“.
Up to now, the restaurant held various events, from wedding receptions to various themed parties. For more details and reservations, you can contact the staff of the Mohawk Bend here.
