Inspired by a ship’s hull, designer Valentin Loellmann created a decorative lamp collection for the romantic and nautical fanatics out there. Sailing through the interiors of your own home, these beautiful lamps can create a serene atmosphere, reminiscent of boats entering the port at dusk. An elegant display of overlapping planks of raw oak and bangkirai wood constructs an almost unrealistic atmosphere. This subtle nautical aesthetic showcases the wood grain’s beauty while conveying a sense of freedom and romanticism. Hanging on the ceiling with a promise to be the focal point in the space, the Drift Lamps are showcased upside down.
On the interior, a thick white polyester layer bounces the light off, directing it to the ground, to illuminate your dining table or floor. As described by their designer, “the lamps float and slightly drift as if they are carving their nautical course into the room.” Wouldn’t you like to float into dreamland with such a beautiful lamp hanging in the bedroom?
