When you have parents like Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke, it isn’t tough to flaunt your celebrity genes. Maya Thurman-Hawke effotelssly stole the show on the red carpet at the 2015 CFDA Fashion Awards. Dressed in a gorgeous floral Zac Posen gown, the sixteen year old daughter of Uma was having the time of her life, while posing and twirling to flaunt her outfit.
Maya’s striking resemblance to her mother, made heads turn at the event, which she attended on the arm of Zac Posen. The floral embroidered tulle gown from the designer’s resort 2016 collection featured a high neckline, multicolored beading and delicate sheer overlay that added lightness to the rich floral print. Maya paired the outfit with her blonde tresses set in loose curls. The teen beauty also made her fashion debut with very little make-up.
The 2015 CFDA Fashion Awards took place on June 1 at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center, New York. The annual event recognizes the outstanding contributions made to American fashion by individuals from all areas of the industry and related arts, with awards being given for design excellence in womenswear, menswear, and accessories as well as extraordinary accomplishments in journalism, creative vision, and lifetime achievement.
