Forget UberBlack! The crazy affluent don’t wait for even above average wheels anymore. They go wheels up with their own private chopper on demand.
As seen during 2015 F-1 Grand Prix Weekend and some other sporadic major events over the past couple of years, UberChopper is the next new thing… making its official big reveal at CES in Vegas last week.
This door-to-door Uber service picks up from the client’s location to a helipad where up to seven people can fly to some fun. CES attendees, in particular, were offered the new option on their Uber app that allowed them to take a helicopter tour of the city.
“Uber is thrilled to be in Nevada in time to seamlessly move conference attendees, visitors and residents throughout Las Vegas during CES,” said Jason Raddison, General Manager for Uber Nevada. “Our partnership… provides riders with another great way to move safely, reliably and affordably throughout the city, while enjoying one of the most beautiful views the Strip has to offer.”
You may buy in to Uber’s magic… but know that they still can’t land a chopper on the strip for you. And we don’t even want to see what surge pricing looks like!
