Food lovers know that cocktails served in mason jars have become practically ubiquitous at trendy restaurants across the nation. But an entire restaurant of dishes based on mason jars? That’s another thing entirely.
But that’s exactly what diners will find at Jars on Grace Bay, the newest pop up restaurant concept at Turks and Caicos luxury resort the Grace Bay Club.
Two trends in one? Say it ain’t so. But thankfully, Jars deftly navigates the trends to present diners with a beachfront experience that feels both authentic and welcomed.
Diners relax in a casual setting with a 30-foot communal table, sipping rum punches and rosé wines and enjoy near panoramic views of Grace Bay Beach.
The menu runs towards the farm-to-table, but with a creative twist. Highlights include Chilled Yellow and Red Tomato Gazpacho with Manchego Scone and Spiny Lobster Ramen with Ginger Pasta & Snow Peas in Sesame Broth and sweet endings like Island Ice Cream Cassata.
No word yet on how long this pop up will last, but we can safely say that sipping a mason jar cocktail on a pristine white sand beach will sound like a winner to us for as long as it’s open.
