Toy Story Land has an official opening date: June 30.
Just in time for the summer holidays, Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Florida will bring Woody and Buzz Lightyear to life at Toy Story Land, where guests will be transported to Andy’s backyard. The Pixar-themed Pixar Pier at Disneyland Resort in California is set to open June 23.
Attractions across the 11-acre park include the Slinky dog Dash, a family-friendly roller coaster featuring Slinky and Jessie.
The little green aliens star in spinning Alien Swirling Saucers, while Toy Story Midway Mania! will be expanded and updated.
Woody’s Lunch Box will serve American favorites and old-fashioned soda floats in a setting that celebrates toys like Crayons, Cooties, Green Army Men, Rubik’s Cubes and Tinkertoys.
Meanwhile, at Disneyland Resort’s Pixar-themed Pixar Pier, go to infinity and beyond!
At the attraction, expect to see four neighborhoods: one based on The Incredibles, others on Inside Out and Toy Story, and a fourth one based on a collection of Pixar stories. Mickey’s Fun Wheel will change to reflect a Pixar theme too.
Before Pixar Pier officially opens in June, Disneyland will hold its first Pixar Fest on April 13.
Highlights include a new fireworks show, ‘Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular’; a Pixar Play Parade, adding characters such as the Pixar Lamp; and ‘Paint the Night,’ a light show with 1.5 million LED lights.
