Motorsports fans looking for international high-octane thrills and high-end hospitality will find their hearts racing over the Grand Prix experience being offered on the MSC Virtuosa cruise ship this fall. It promises to be an unrivaled race weekend adventure during this year’s Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix November 24-26, 2023.
The modern MSC Virtuosa will be docked at the Abu Dhabi Cruise Terminal throughout the race weekend, serving as a cruise ship hotel positioned to take on trackside thrills of the season’s final race to the ship.
A range of Grand Prix packages combine accommodation, race tickets and exclusive insider access with F1 Experiences. The F1 Premium Hospitality package includes suite accommodations on board the MSC Virtuosa, and a 3-day Premium Hospitality Pass from your choice of a Turn 1 Suite — with premium trackside views, table service, and guided Paddock tour — or F1 Paddock Club — with a F1 pit lane walk, track tour, F1 driver and ambassador appearances, an open bar, and fine dining.
The Cabin + F1 Experience package features balcony cabin accommodations, a 3-day Grandstand seat, a pit lane walk, guided track tour, on-ship FI ambassador visits, and a championship trophy photo. All guests will receive breakfast and evening meals, complimentary Wi-Fi, and transportation to and from the track.
MSC Virtuosa’s docking location at The Abu Dhabi Cruise is a short drive from the circuit, allowing guests to get there and back, stress-free. MSC Virtuosa will also be in port November 23 and 27, allowing guests to extend their race package and explore the nearby city center.
On board the floating hotel, guests will enjoy an array of amenities including restaurants and bars, two theaters, a shopping mall and Mediterranean-style promenade, a luxurious spa and gym, five swimming pools, an interactive waterpark, live entertainment, a children’s program, and the MSC Formula racer simulator.
