If there’s one outfit well-known in power-hungry Washington, DC, it’s the coat and tie. DC, with its large number of men (and women!) in government, lobbying and other federal pursuits, still rocks the coat and tie look on a regular basis.
But there’s no need for boring navys and reds, thanks to DC’s newest menswear destination, The Tie Bar, which has finally returned to DC after a several year hiatus. Joining the flagship Chicago store and regional locations in Boston, New York and Philadelphia, The Tie Bar has a full-time location in Logan Circle, at 1431 P Street, NW.
“We couldn’t be happier about bringing The Tie Bar to D.C. full-time. It continues to be a strong and rapidly growing market for us, and we’re excited for our customers to be able to experience our brand in a new way,” says Allyson Lewis, CEO of The Tie Bar.
We were one of the first to get a look at the chic 1,300-square-foot space, which features custom wood fixtures showcasing ‘Tie Bar Combos’, outfit building bars, and an accessory bar, as well as social media friendly inspiration walls.
Not one to rock the tie on the regular? The store also features exclusive brand partnerships like Tie The Knot by Modern Family’s Jesse Tyler Ferguson or popular wedding collaborations with bridal brands BHLDN and Show Me Your Mumu.
Here are a few snaps from the new store!
