Even the world’s ultra-luxury resorts need nips and tucks now and then. At the exclusive One&Only Ocean Club resort, one of The Bahamas’ most luxurious and secluded beachfront properties, room and restaurant renovations are now underway to raise the bar from incredible to exceptional.
Improvements will include renovated and expanded guest rooms in the Hartford Wing, which will all increase in size by an additional 10 square feet and will encompass terraces or balconies with views of the ocean and lush resort gardens. Fresh new makeovers will feature new furnishings, fabrics and the color palette of The Bahamas: cerulean blues, aquamarine and the bleached white of Bahamian sand.
The Dune restaurant at One&Only Ocean Club will also see physical and culinary changes. The dining room and Dune Deck at Dune restaurant by Jean-Georges Vongerichten will enlarge to accommodate more guests, and the menu choices will expand.
Planned enhancements will be consistent with the secluded private-estate feel of the existing resort, and while The Hartford Courtyard will be completely redesigned, the renovations will leave other areas, such as the historic Versailles gardens, untouched.
