Samsung has recently introduced the brand new Galaxy S4 Zoom, an interesting smartphone with a powerful camera (and a decent photo quality) that merges the talk and zoom experiences, providing a new (and improved) type of interaction. Or should we call this the Samsung smart camera? The S4 Zoom borrows the design of S4 Mini but not its specs (Samsung S4 Zoom is not as powerful as the Mini device). Since we live in a world of visual communication, where pictures are perceived as fragments of happiness, the tendency is to “immortalise” each burst of laughter. Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom sports a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with Gorilla Glass 3 and an excellent 16 MP autofocus camera with 10x zoom. It features a dual-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A9 CPU and it comes equipped with 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of built-in storage, Bluetooth v4.0, Dual-band Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct and DLNA, NFC, Optical Image Stabilisation, Xenon Flash and a 1.9-megapixel front camera. The item is available for pre-order in India (Rs 29,900) and it will come to the US by the end of this year.
