Leave it to Saint-Tropez to turn a craving into concierge service.
At AREV St. Tropez, guests can summon a dedicated French Fry Butler named Jacke with the press of a button in their room or by picking up one of the hotel’s signature red telephones placed throughout the property. Moments later, a basket of golden fries arrives with an assortment of playful toppings and dipping sauces.

The experience is intentionally whimsical, fitting the personality of the 35-room boutique hotel, which opened in 2024 and has quickly become one of Saint-Tropez’s most talked about luxury stays. Beyond fries, the property features The Strand restaurant, Q’s Bar, a Champagne Lounge, spa, and one of the largest pools in central Saint-Tropez.
For Pursuitist, this is exactly the kind of luxury we love: memorable, fun, and completely unnecessary in the best possible way. Anyone can order room service. Calling your personal French Fry Butler? That’s a vacation you’ll actually remember.
Pursuitist Take: ★★★★★
Sometimes the smallest indulgences create the biggest smiles. The French Fry Butler may be the most charming hotel amenity of the summer.
