The splashy Bellagio hotel in Las Vegas has emerged the most popular hotel among the world’s richest, multi-millionaire guests.
That’s according to a new report released by New World Wealth, which found that over a 12-month period beginning June 2013, the luxury hotel in Sin City received visits from 6,400 multi-millionaires, defined as an individual with net assets of at least $10 million.
In fact, the index is dominated by hotels in Las Vegas, a hotbed of high rollers.
After The Bellagio, with about half the number of visits, comes The Plaza hotel in New York with 3,700 visits — all the more notable given that the hotel has a fraction of rooms compared to its Las Vegas counterpart.
The Bellagio counts 3,993 guest rooms and suites, while The Plaza has 282, the report points out.
According to New World Wealth, the exclusive multi-millionaire club counts 495,000 members worldwide.
Hotels in Las Vegas and New York dominate the index, while Singapore, Monaco and London also boast properties favored by the world’s richest travelers.
On a smaller scale, the most popular boutique hotels include Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc Antibes in France, and Raffles Singapore.
Here are the hotels that received the highest number of visits from millionaires:

The Plaza New York – 3,700
Caesars Palace Las Vegas – 3,400
Waldorf Astoria New York – 3,300
