The Dalmore 1974 Single Malt Scotch Whiskey has been aged in casks that previously held Gonzalez-Byass’s sherries. The Highland whiskey started life in ‘Apostoles’ Palo Cortado casks, before spending five years in ‘Matusalem’ Oloroso sherry butts.: This is a vintage release by The Dalmore follows the success of the 1973 Cabernet Sauvignon vintage and increasing demand for wood-finished malts. Only 948 bottles have been produced.
Cost for this rare vintage is around $1,500.
